Design for change

Design for Change is an international movement aimed at developing the skills and confidence of youngsters who are searching for solutions to social problems from their surroundings. This is achieved by using a methodology based on design thinking, which focuses on 4 main points: FEEL / IMAGINE / DO / SHARE. In the form of a school challenge the youngsters become co-creators in the world that they would like to live in. As an official representative of the movement in Bulgaria last year we carried out the I CAN School Challenge together with more than 30 teachers and 100 students from the Iane Sandanski Secondary School in Plovdiv. As part of EMPATHЕAST 2019: The ideas of the youngsters will be presented in front of representatives of local companies, decision-makers from the city’s administration, non-governmental organisations, and the broader audience during CATAPULT - 2 NOVEMBER > 17 - 20 h / Total sport.
